Our Kuaka Project Team (KPT) is spread over a broad geography and we invite you to join us.
A good way to start is to join us on facebook.
The project producer, Hannah Bodger Kearns, is based in Auckland. So too is the effective 'face and voice' of the project, Dale Husband.
Tareha O'Reilly, Tamati Paki Te Haara, Tipene Harmer, Hayley Osterfield and Garry Crawford, are all part of the AWA Studio (AWA = Aroha WhÄnau Awhinatanga) group, (Find AWA on Facebook) and are based at Waiohiki in the Hawke's Bay.
The team operates virtually, connecting through skype and other electronic media, and comes together face to face as and when required. We want to form and support local teams around individuals who see the potential of the idea and are committed to the E Tu Whanau kaupapa of violence free homes and achieving whanau. Join in with us, send us your ideas, pictures, songs, video clips, selfies with your local flocks of Kuaka.
You can help us too by nominating Kahukura, community and whanau leaders - who you think deserve acknowledgement and praise.
